Hi, I’m Satu.
I’d love to make movies. Films. As my job. As my choice of career. Perhaps even as love of my life. If I can’t make them, I’d like to sell them, be part of the team somehow. Or write about them. At least now I’m doing that by writing this blog. In my real life I’m stuck in Finnish Lapland, working as a bartender. It’s not bad but it’s not a dream either.
I write mostly about films and everything related to them but also my life, my travels, and dreams. Sometimes even about work and studies. Life.

Hey! Thanks for stopping by and following my little blog! I’ve returned the favour! I love supporting those who dare to dream. Good luck on your journey! π
Thanks to you too! It’s always nice to find other movie fans.
Agreed! Cheers mate! π
What an interesting blog you’ve got here, can’t wait to read more from it.
Thanks! π
I like your blog, thanks for the follow!
hi, thanks for the follow! I just returned the favor, as you can see. So cool that you get to review movies ahead of their release elsewhere. Looking forward to reading your review of “Catching Fire”…once I’ve had the chance to see it, that is!
Thanks to you too! Well, the most of the films we get later, like 12 Years a Slave that I’m really looking forward to see but yeah, the biggest blockbusters we tend to get earlier. That’s kinda nice.

Thank you so much! I gotta get back to this as soon as the holidays start, now I’m drowning with exams at school. But again, thanks!
No problem!

Hi! Thanks for the follow and the comment and everything else!
Right back at you! Thanks!
Thanks for dropping by! I really enjoyed your husband list π Quite a few names there would make my list also π
Thanks to you too! Glad you enjoyed it, those guys make my days a bit better just by existing. π
Nice blog you have here.
I don’t think I’ve seen any Finnish Films, nothing comes to my mind. But I have seen a British film with the latter half of the film set in Finland and Sweden (if I remember correctly), called ‘The Disappearance of Finbar Flynn (90’s flick)’, that I watched more than a decade ago.
Thanks for commenting on my blog, and for your query of ‘if you like films….’, yes I do love films, in fact I have an M.A. in International Cinema, from the University of Luton, UK. It’s just that now I live in a country that constantly looks down on the arts (Art, Literature, Cinema et al), and has no taste for good cinema, and doesn’t even try to understand. Thus impossible to locate good films. (of course pornographic films available all over, but not art π )
Cheers

Thank you.
That is really sad that you don’t get to see those amazing films they are making in independent field. I kind of feel sorry for you now. π¦
